9G - Oxidizing paint - still an issue?

Hey guys - been a lonnnnng time since I've posted on the board, but my little brother is looking to possibly purchase a 2010 Galant and I was hoping to get some answers regarding the past oxidizing paint issues.

Is still still an on-going problem with any of the newer models? I know there used to be a lot of members who had problems with black paint. I did a search but didn't find much for the newer models.


Any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks guys!

I would hope not after the class action law suit they had against them, I have yet to see any Mitsu Black 9gs that have paint cancer, but Wash, Polish, Wax always helps

We had a 2010 that we just sold at the dealership and it was kalapana black and it was ok.
