I have a Pioneer DEH3200UB head unit integrated with the GTZ's stock Infinity amplifier, which is driving Infinity Reference 6 1/2" coaxial front door speakers, the stock Infinity front tweeters and 4" dashboard midrange speaker, and the stock rear 6 x 9" speakers in the back. I have a POS Jensen 2 -channel amp (it was free) sending 125W RMS into each voice coil of an Infinity Reference 12" DVC subwoofer in a Sound Ordnance dual ported box. The system won't win SPL competitions, but it sounds damn good for cruising around. I have the high pass filter sending all frequencies above 125Hz to the Infinity amp and the interior speakers, and everything below that going to the Jensen amp and the subwoofer. It's a decent setup.

On the silver G, up front in the dash I have a shitty Jensen screen, it's really only there for it's DVD function. In control of clarity is an Alpine CDA-117, iPod, USB and overall clean sound from its built in EQ. Attached to the ash tray is the screen/controller for a Parrot CK3100 hands-free kit. In the doors are the Kenwood speakers that came with the car and some stock Mitsu tweeters with the covers (car wasn't equipped with Infinity Sound). And the rear deck,Kenwood 6x9's as far as sound goes with the Kenwoods, meh... not bad. But as soon as funds permit Polk or Infinity all around. In the trunk is a single 12" Kicker CVR in a ported box. Everything is powered by an Oxygen audio 5 channel amp, (cheap house brand of audio where I used to work), anyway sound is well not bad. In the roof, is a Boss 9" flip down (the only reason the Jensen is in the car) it has no built in DVD. And on one of the pictures, on the rear deck is an oscillating fan that is wired with a relay to the little light on the a/c button, only runs when a/c is on to help circulate air. All this under close watch from the Viper 791 xv Remote Start/Security.

    Audio expenses:
    Speakers: Came with car.
Jensen screen: Payment for installing a friends amp.
Alpine Deck: $120 (Friends Best Buy discount)
    Flip down: $60 online
Parrot Bluetooth: $30 (stashed it when Curicuit City closed)
Sub, box, amp, and wiring: Free, took it from shop I worked at when it closed.
    Fan: Autozone hook-up
    Red-top: Autozone hook-up
Viper 791xv: Free again! (My buddy traded in his car, said I could have it if I met him at a Walmart parking lot close to the dealer and removed it before 4:30 that day.)

To be honest, if I wasn't such a bass addict and didn't rely on my iPhone for my music content, I'd have left the Infinity system alone, the sound quality was nice, just no bass or volume. And I can't be content with using a RF transmitter for my iPhone, the sound quality is ass.

Yea, but even newer cars with the USb and aux hook-ups I can't stand. At least in my own cars. Which is why if I ever get a new car I will not spend the extra G's in premium sound and navi. Aftermarket for same price or less is by far better.

Here is mine, still unfinished, but making sound:

Just a Pioneer Premier DEH-P880PRS Head unit, RF 360 eq., RF Amps, CDT Audio Passive x-overs, and CDT & RF speakers.

a 2nd battery is also installed in the trunk, above the sistem rack. All custom work made by myself in my spare time.
