    Ksport or D2 coilovers ??

I hate my Megan coilovers and since income tax is coming soon I was gonna finally paint the car but in all honesty I hate driving the car cuz of the suspension so I rather replace that instead.

I don't know which one is better so I need input from people who has them.

    Thanks.

27 I think. Its either harsh or bouncy. And for the love of my life I can't go any lower on driver front side to match the passenger side and their customer service is garbage and no help.

How about BC. Have good experience with them on evo x. F8k r8k. Rides a lot smoother than stock.

I briefly read about them but don't know anything about them.

I wouldn't look for the ride to be significantly better with running a low as possible with any suspension setup. As fur their customer service? Yea, seems non-existent.

    They're both trash.

Go KW V3 or get some AMR's in nice, softish rates.

    AMR's are $1500ish.

With KSport/D2/Megan, they're all the same trash just repackaged.

Any cheap coilover will ride poorly...

Why not just go with a spring/shock setup? Going to be world's smoother, and unless you're tracking/autox'ing you don't need stiffer spring rates. If you're already going with a shitty setup (IE: Cheap coilovers) why not get something equally shitty and save some money?

Dude quit it already. I know those aren't top of the line but not all of us can blow that much on coilovers. Plus I have other things to worry about.

I decided to order 7k springs for the front and see how I like it.

    Thanks for the input everyone.

Ksport and D2 are made in the same factory, in Taiwan BTW, this bad rap been going on for awhile due to some quality issues when they were first starting out (Ksport that is, D2 brand I suspect was started so they could aviod some of this), currently, the only massively bad review I have ever seen was from a Civic forum (of which I suspect it was a bad set), I haven't dug up anything that says otherwise (also routine bashing doesn't help anyone seeing any new reviews, nor does it help increase demand and therefore quality), just don't go overly low and you should be golden, if duribility is your primary concern (since D2's and Ksports are ment for the track only), D2/Ksport makes a version specific for rally racing (although I can't dig up any reviews on the D2 set, the K's have a few reviews out there), although AMR's are not that much more and have a record of being near indistructable

    my opinion,
AMR's are my primary choose provided you can pay for it
D2's are good if your on a budget, also they have service stations in the states as well

Fox have you ever owned a set of coilovers? Driven a car with coilovers? Ridden in a car with coilovers? Experienced a cheap set and a quality set?

Here's a review of D2 by someone who actually knows what they're talking about:

I have to agree with Cody on if your truly looking for a smother ride the way to go is with a shock and spring setup especially on a dd and even more so if your east coast we have the most horrible roads around.

    Oakrdrs your too much lol

^^ I gotta throw lulz around to ease the tension.

And I have to disagree our west coast streets are the shittiest, we don't have pot holes we got "pot-open pits" of this nature.

Well to me and my rims it sure feels like it.

    On-Topic:

Tein Basics aren't a great, or even a good setup TBH, but relative to the other options, its a bit better.
