Your yes/no opinion on wheel swap

The time has come for my buddy to get rid of his first car, a 99 Nissan Maxima. I have stripped his audio system and remote start alarm. While he owned he added intake and exhaust and lowered it on Eibach springs and Gr-2's. He also has aftermarket wheels on it which he may not sell with the car.

They are 18x8 or 8.5 Diamo 25 Karat, black with machined lip, wrapped in 235/40 Yokohama S-Drives about 80% life left.

My wheels are 20x8 +45 MB Wheels Spark wrapped in 225/35 Falken Ziex's about 90% life left.

I haven't tried on his wheels so I don't have pictures to compare. My question is should we swap wheels (he wants the 20's for his wifes 07 Altima.) Would it be OK to do an even trade? Or should I just pass and keep my car as is?

Details on my car, White 99 ES 8G I4. Lowered on Tein SS Coilovers. (Not car in sig, that is my other Silver 8G on 17in eclipse stockers.)

I know neither set is even close to spectacular, and trust me if I had the money for wheels it wouldn't be either one of these. This is just something I'm tossing around since he's getting rid of his car and its a possible deal. Either stay on 20's or trade them for what he has.

    I wouldn't rock either, but I'd rather have 18's.

    Cheaper tyres, smoother ride, etc.

Trust me If I had to buy, me either. 20's have been on the car since I got it. Tires costs are high and tire life is low.

not liking either option. what happened to the 17's in ur sig? those would b the best until u were able to get nice wheels.

if it's even swap, trade for the 18's just to save money on tires... those 20's r tacky. later, when u are able to, get nice wheels.

^^^ If I trade they will probably remain on the car as a DD. In the coming year I plan on acquiring a clean V6 8G to JDM and be the candidate for name brand wheels and such.

Looks like everyone is for the trade. I will hit up the homie and see how it goes.

Don't JDM, go body kit. Do it, do it, do it, do it, do it.
