looking for the 01 v6 ecu pinout? any info will help

Why? You need it. I double checked the diagram and they are a few minor changes. It should be able to work. I need to double check the rom. Dont go all over the place. One step at a time.

2001 PCM/ROM dont have the following pin/sensor from the 02 PCM/ROM
pin 51 fuel temperature sensor
pin 60 Fuel level sensor

02 PCM/ROM dont have the following pin/sensor from the 01 PCM/ROM
pin 43 Spark plug check signal
pin 80 vehicle speed sensor - thats why our 02-03 speedo don't work when you go 5 speed and the 99-01 works because of this.

So you putting a 2001 PCM on your 02 car so you wont have
pin 51 fuel temperature sensor
pin 60 Fuel level sensor
You wont get any CEL since the 01 rom dont have such pin enable

If you put a 02-03 PCM on a 01 Galant you will get
CEL:
pin 51 fuel temperature sensor
pin 60 Fuel level sensor
You will get CEL since the PCM is looking for these sensor that the 01 dont have.

Let me know when you get your cable so i could review the ROM.

He bought that ECU you guys made the patch for, don't you have that saved? Still needs a cable to flash to the ECU but it would get a lot answered.

well im about to resell the ecu! i do have the cord on order but the ecu is becoming more of a headache than usefull like i said before only bought it cuz it was supposed to be plug and play it whatever shit happens lol but thanks for the help

I moved the rom and xml from the original laptop to another one. The other laptop hard drive crashed. So i dont have it.

I back up all my work on my server. But i need a new power supply.

You want the help or not. You give up so easy. Programing a pcm is trial and error. Specially immobilizer from different years.

I dont know why you want to sell it so you could be on the same boat is be on me.

We tested the immobilizer and cel on the last owner 01 galant v6 and it was 100% so it when to a 02 owner that is known 02-03 to be different from a 99-00 and 01 roms and harness specially immobilizer it will be a trial and error.

Is plug and play because it works with a few and simple changes.

the point is i spent 300 for this ecu!!! i asked before i paid will this work without any issues the answer was yes!!! i bought with the knowledge from the seller that it will work!
i understand its trail and error but why would i spend 300 on something that trial and error to me that sound stupid but the point is princeable !! like i said thanks for any help that was giving!

Is your call. I'm trying to give technical support for my work. I told the other member that sold the PCM to you. "i wont charge you until you sell the pcm and the other member get the pcm working" In other words is not working for you "i dont get pay" so i'm offering my help to get you going and we could all be happy.

To me makes no sense of reselling if is going to work.
