    Factory Keyless Remote?

    I've searched and searched. I have an 02 galant that's supposed to be equipped w keyless entry. FCC ID is OUCG8C-227M-B and part # is MR537990. omron customer service was no go, Mitsubishi dealership in nj no go either. I couldn't for the sake of my life find any matching remotes that matched the id. nothing on google either. is this etacs unit the proper one for my car? can I use the G8D-525M-A or do I have to buy a new etacs unit for it to work? thanks in advance

    If you are gonna go through all that, decent aftermarket keyless entry can go for as little as $120 installed.

    i was going to do that eventually. just figured id get the keyless remote for now since they go for about $30 online and programming is fairly simple.
