Ok guys so now I have a new problem with my thermostat. Idk if this happens with everyone, but ever since I got my G, it would make like a shutter sound when switching from hot to cold which I guess changed the valve. I used the AC on Tues since I was so HOT and normally I'm not. Now the thermostat wont change back to hot and doesn't make that shutter sound when it's on hot so the valve is still on cold. And my luck it's been freezing and raining for the past 4 days and I'm frozen in there. Is there anything I can do so I don't have to take it to my mechanic?

Mitsubishi has replacement gears for some of their hvac boxes because they stick and it wears the cable. I'd go to the dealer and see if you can get the updated gears.

thats a manual knob but you can make it work for a auto theres a tutorial somewhere around here for it. Itll well basically be a knob where you push it down to shift bad thing about it itll most likely feel loose all the time

alot of the good auto knobs that fit the G have been discontinued its all up to you what you wanna do.

IIRC, other Mitsu shifters work. DTP used either a 7G or 2G Eclipse shifter, I forget... It's in his build thread.

You can use the shifter from a 7g/2g/1g Dodge Avenger, or from the Diamante, which is my personal favorite.
