Not bad, like I said in the wheel thread, the bronze is a nice look. Stick with it.

Also, those tires are the wrong size. You need 225/45 R17's, those 225/50 R17's are much too big in diameter.

Doesn't matter, they're the incorrect size.

I've been running a set of 235/45 R17's with a set of wheels I have for 3 years...despite many rough roads, no bent rims.

Correct aspect ratio > false idea of cushiony sidewalls

What the hell are you doing ripping through the mud in a Galant? Get a truck for that...

But I ran my set of ROH Adrenalin's, 17x8 with those 235/45 R17 tires without an issue on the G.

well then that answered that. i lowered 1.7 front and 1.3 in the back. so im sure the wheels will be too wide. well these pop out a bit and they 225. if i get a rim set with a lower offset will the tires be more in the wheel well? my offset now is 43+

That offset is higher than my ROHs, (they're +35) but 225/50 tires sit taller than 235/45 tires, so you should be fine.

^ Yeah but he also butchered his fenders getting to be able to run that size. Granted you don't see it because of his fender flares. There's a thread on the site somewhere about how he did it.

shhh...lol. anyways my point is if he finds the right combo he could fit 235 with no mods except rolled fenders and some camber

first of all, my fenders aren't BUTCHERED, they are cut, but if I take the flares of they just look flared out and a little "thin" because there is no lip to them and the paint was a little chipped, which doesn't matter now since I got the car repainted. Second of all, all you need is a 225/45 and you'll be fine, or a 215/50, or a 235/40, or a 245/40, etc...

    Just stop.

And obviously you wouldn't have an issue, you have 6 feet of air between your tyres and any part of your car.

OP, if your tyres are not rubbing constantly, you're fine until the tyres wear out, just note that your speedo/odometer will be a bit off.

Greddy, why you butchering your fenders all the time? lol
