I've come here to gather information. I'll cut to the chase. I'm building a normally aspirated 6-bolt 2.4 with DOHC. I know I'm crazy, you don't need to point it out. I know what I want and I have my reasons. So, I want to learn more about the 94 Galant GS. I've been lead here by mysticj via google while trying to search for the original DOHC 2.4 Sirius engine.

I started out as a DSMer - my first being a NT that I still own to this day some 9 years later. I've had a few turbo DSMs as well, but most of those were short lived. I currently have a couple Colts and a Starion sitting in my pile of projects. I also have a couple Nissans as well.

So that's my story. I'm going to start digging around in your forums so don't mind me. If you happen to be one of the people familiar with the 94 GS, please say hi and allow me to ask you some questions from time to time.

hey man, i have a 94 es and i think they might be somewhat similar due to engine but mines a SOHC..well welcome man and im here if you have any questions or concerns. Goo luck with the engine

Well, I have a lot of questions and don't really know where to start. I'm probably just going to browse the forums looking through stickies and tech posts. I want to find a factory service manual so I can compare the electrical diagrams and ECU pinouts to those of a turbo DSM. I hypothesize that I can use a Galant GS ECU with a Turbo DSM wiring harness to run this goofy engine I'm trying to put together. I'm sure there will be some challenges as I imagine the 94 wiring from the GS is going to have a handful of differences when compared to a DSM harness. I'm sure there will be enough similarity to make it work though.

Anyways, I need to start searching and posting. I'm sure it will make for interesting forum fodder.
