hello from over the pond !
The avitar is my car,a coty vr4 and its pretty standard, except for uprated fuel pump and rail, fpr , hard pipe kit, face lift ecu remapped and with additional features added such as knock sensor and launch control ,awaiting fitting are evo wheels and brembo discs and de cat.Currently running 310 hp with more to come as time and money allow.ive had it since january last year and had every intention of keeping it totally standard,I managed a year before i gave into temptation!. you have an interesting site here and some good information available, its nice to see what you guys are upto,yr a credit to the 8g world

Thanks for yr kind words.I forgot to include the bigger intercooler and prothane inserts doh ! i shall get out there and take some decent pictures after its had a good clean ,if the fog clears and the sun shines.
its going to need another look at the mapping with the decat, that will let me increase the boost levels to over 1.2 bar on 99 ron fuel, and pick up a few more horses. The remapping also has an economy mode for those long trips, it doesnt save a lot of fuel but another few miles per gallon always helps, i just have to stop my right foot from trying to bury the throttle into the carpet .its recently had a full fluids change, just as well we know how to do it without needing a mut, because dealers havent got a clue about these cars and would charge like wounded bulls anyway.
