Today I ripped out the stock intake silencer. Car finally sounds like it has a (tiny) turbo.

Ah, the hiss of a turbo spooling. Why would you NOT want to hear that?

Hey guys, couple of updates to my car.

Got rid of the old grill and installed an M&S Type-B grill.

    Threw on a wings badge.

And I also installed a K&N intake. Its a little louder than I thought it'd be, but it sounds good.

Well I ordered some Eibach Sportline springs from MAP -( http://www.maperformance.com/ <- Amazing company, great guys) and got them installed today. Its soooo nice to work on a car with less than 20k miles. No rust, no broken bolts.

After the install I got the alignment dialed in perfectly. 1.5 degrees of camber in the back, .5 in the front, and the toe is dead on.

I don't have any really good before images. Here is one.

    And after...

Sits nicely balanced. Love it when springs give that result.

Looking good. After seeing a couple of these cars on a dyno last weekend I'm thoroughly impressed with them, especially the V6, the 4-banger holds its own too.

Over the past couple of days I've been working on blacking out the headlight housings. What a pain in the ass!! But, in the end, it turned out really nice.

Yeah that's dope. That little change really sets off the front and its probably not something you'll see every day on one of those.

When I was at the Hyundai dealership with the wife I was eyeballing one with the Brembos and all, they are really nice cars. Dude started it up, the exhaust nice was nice for a stock four banger. It's just a good looking car overall Pete!

Lights look way better. I know the though off opening them with an oven or heat gun can make one nervous but the more you do it the easier it becomes.

Very nice Pete. Between the grille and headlights, that is one distinct front end.
