    Quick Timing Question

    Alright, i'm pretty sure i've lined my timing marks up right after searching through the forums. My question is i got a used cylinder head but my bottom half was at tdc(1 cylinder at the top followed by two at the bottom then the last one at the top again). but when i put my vavle cover on my crankshaft marks didn't line up, so i lined them up am i going the right direction???

    would it be best for me to get it at top dead center and go from there?
