    Hi;

    I am having stalling issues with my 95 Galant.
    I checked for error codes and got #49 TCC Solenoid Malfunction

    I've read that you can unplug it to test, but I don't know where exactly is this plug located. Do I have to remove the oil pan to access it or is there any other place where I can unplug it ?

    Thanks in advance

    Just had this code on my 2003 Audi( TC solenoid code) and had to replace the TC. Is the car shifting weird? slipping or jerking shifts? What did it do right before the light came on?

    Well, I noticed the problem when it was downshifting. When I almost stopped the car it felt like a manual transmission without engaging the clutch, like the car was stalling. Now it's also giving me problems when going from 3rd to 4th. If the transmission is hot enough, the car won't go into 4th gear sometimes. I've had the transmission repaired twice, and the mechanic said he changed all the solenoids, but I have this feeling that he missed the tcc.

    Icon4 TCC Location on 95 Galant (pics?)

    Hi:

    I've tried to locate the TCC solenoid on my 1995 Galant to check the connector and run some tests but I haven't been able to identify it on the transmission.

    I would greatly appreciate any help with identifying the solenoid. If anyone has pictures it would be of great help.

    Thanks in advance

    I didnt find much info since pretty much on here goes with the 5spd swap after the auto trans fails.
