    Kylecanthurdle's 8g build

This car is my baby, Ive had it since I was 15 (almost 23 now). It was my daily driver up until i blew the transmission up this past june. Ill give a bit of story then ill show what ive got in store for her.

As of last June i had:

    JDM Headlights
    JDM new style grille
    JDM Old style Bumper
6000k HID High beam, low beam and fog lights
    JDM power folding mirrors
    JDM new style side skirts
    EGR visor
    JDM new style tail lights
    USDM rear wing
20% tint, Limo tint on rear window
    Megan racing Coilovers
    v6 throttle body
    5 speed 3g eclipse swapped
    Mishimoto radiator
    Sparco seats
    Sparco 4 point harnesses

Like i said, my transmissions input bearing let loose, so i took the entire drivetrain out(since it was 189k miles old) and figured id start saving up for what ive always wanted to do....a full blown street/race car.

Ive been collecting parts for quite some time. My list is as follows....

    4g64 block and crank
    4g63 evo 8 cylinder head
    Wiseco pistons
    eagle h beam rods
    GSC s2 cams (274/274)
    supertech valves
    supertech valve springs/retainers
    evo 8 transmission
    evo 8 ecu
    evo 8 intake manifold
    evo 8 throttle body
    evo 8 fuel rail
    evo 8 16g turbo
    evo 8 oil feed/return lines
    prothane engine mounts
    evo 8 intercooler piping
jdm sport ebay special 28x10x3" intercooler
    mishimoto radiator

monday i will be picking up my pistons, valves, springs and retainers and i will be ordering some more goodies. im gonna keep updaing this thread and if i have any questions i hope to post i here and whoever has an answer can give some input =]

Sweet build list, I remember when this car was so stock. That was back when I first met you back in LITuners, though.

been MIA for a little while. started a new job, bought over $15k in tools just because im making good money and i have a large addiction to snapon tools. but now that thats all paid off i decided i wanted to get the G on the road.....went out on a whim and bought me something to sport around with while i get the 64 fully built.

figured i needed a new transmission because the one i bought was toast(needed synchros, input shafts and a full rebuild.....ill save this one for when i go awd with the fully built engine and bigger turbo setup) and i needed a tcase anyway. couldnt find one for under 1000 and i havent been able to find a blown one for the case itself. idk, i look at this car everyday and i miss driving it, its been out of commission for wayyyy too long. stay tuned for some updates, the engine should be here within the next couple of weeks.
