    Idle control sensor

So this morning while working my cars CE light came on and right after it started revving itself. While on park or neutral it'll rev at 3000rpm and while on drive or reverse it'll automatically accelerate itself without me hitting the gas. I ran it 35 miles today and it sucked half of a tank of gas. So after work I took it to get a reading diagnostic for the CE. The code I got was P0505 and it's for the Idle control sensor.

I figured I would have to replace it but then the guy cleared the code and after starting it again it stopped doing it. Should I be worried?

The FIAV is probably dirty and got stuck. I mean It might happen again you never know. Best way is to remove the TB, then remove the bottom part of it, then remove the IAC motor and start cleaning the bottom part with TB cleaner. Or just buy a new bottom portion which will cost you around $200
God created turbo lag to give the v8's a brief moment of hope.
