Anyone using sport wipers? Particularly ones that have "aero" dynamic attachments..

What are the 8G sizing for wipers?

    $120?! Screw that.

I'm using Bosch Icons in one and Rain-X Latitudes in the other.

i have valeo "ultimate" wiper blades (hook lock)... valeo is OE for some AUDI and MBZ models. they are the kind that are have no "frame", just a blade which is like a full length mini spoiler itself. got them at tire rack. sizes for the 8G are 24" driver side, 18" passenger side.

    here's what they look like:

^^ Those Valeo's look like they work really well. Pretty much what mine look like. Since I have buddies at AutoZone and O'reily's I get hooked up with whatever they have there.
Here in the desert we don't see much rain though, mine are just there for looks mostly, TBH I probably use mine 2-3 times a year. Tell you what though they are more durable and take heat from the sun better than the regular stuff.

I have the Bosch Icons on both my cars, they work extremely well, and usually cost $42 a pair.

I've been using the Valeos for the last 3 years, as well. I have the 18" passenger blade, but I feel that it's a little too long, as the end of it, does not make contact on the glass, I was contemplating getting the 17" and checking it out, but ended up missing out on that opportunity.

They are great wipers, and I buy them from tirerack.com where they have a buy one get one free special, permanently.

Im using the normal rain x blades although I have used the latitudes ones and they didnt seem to work well. My next set will be the Piaa super silicone.

Both Piaa and rain x Latitude have the built in spoilers

These contoured wiper blades are great for people that live in cold, snowy winter parts of the country.

The molded blade doesn't have the traditional metal bracing, so the wipers don't get frozen. You don't get high spots and low spots. I sell these types of blades at my shop for $50/pair.

If you post stupid and incorrect information, you will get red nuggets.

I only rock Bosch Icon's, they last me usually two or even three years, I love 'em, that's all the aero I need for my stock-powertrain car. I had the Rain-x ones on my old G, I didn't love them, I think the Bosch's work better and look better too, as the Bosch's have a beauty cover over the hook that the Rain-x's don't.

The Lattitude blades are good too, I had a set last me a good two years on the Pontiac. Either the Rain-X Latittudes or Bosch Icons are a good choice.

I have had both and still do, and I will agree that Bosch Icons > Rain X Lat's

All of this wing and whatnot aerodynamics aren't necessary, but if you wanna burn a whole in your pocket that big, by all means

Same here, lots of noise, didn't wipe as clean as my Bosch's. I thought it had something to do with my new windshield so I let it go, but that was on my old car so I only had those blades for a short time before it got totaled. I got a new windshield on this G too, so I thought my Icon's would do the same but they are great, no noise, clean wipes, and coupled with Rain-x washer fluid my windshield is killer lol!

    Washer Fluid?

Are you mixing yours with water Greg or just straight?

I used some Prestone Bug Shit and it clogged up the little pump, been running straight water ever since.
