    Icon6 Heart Transplant : master_visionaties build & ? thread

It shall begin I just sourced a 6bolt 4G63t to go with my 16g as the Pumper in my YardDog

I need to know how to mate the 6bolt to an automatic F4A23 in a 7G I have Seth's tutorial as my homepage.

I know with manuals you swap the clutch but for an automatic do I need a 6bolt torque converter from say a 6G

    Lil history on my project

My sister brought her home in 2006 and I loved her. The taillights were perfect and the curves of the body we're sleek but stocky ...like me :-) I tried from that day to get the car from her.

Five years later the car was dead and I was asking to buy it again. .
    I got it ....for $50

Her ASE certifed husband informed me she was dead and they we're putting her down . I begged. He said if I wanted the car that bad and I was that confident I could fix it I could have it for $50.

Two hours later I drove her to the junkyard got a few things flushed everything but the brakes and power steering. Being done now though. Threw the wheels on at the junkyard. Drove her 8 months and nearly 20k and her heart gave out right at 249k

So I pulled her heart out and tended to her daily putting in a 3g steering wheel and wiring up the 3g cruise control switch so I cold plastic this led voltmeter to monitor my voltage at any given time so an alternor will show its ass and I can see the load my audio is creating. I also want a B&M Newvolt and I have an idea I seen on some forum. To do with setting a boost in voltage at 3/4 boost. Anyway mods list followed by pics.

    i think u would need a 6bolt flex plate

this is what i found to bolt a 2g/7g auto to a 6bolt

I was thinking 1991 Galant flex plate and torque converter

But as far as the ecu will it be okay with the tranny?

The GSX ecu is set for 5 speed F5M33 or F5M33 I have a F4A23

What about this dual ecu thing I've heard tell of one for engine
    One for tranny?

    Just finished reading link #2

I was considering the 3bolt flex plate my car was built with
Factory anticipating a difference . But then I thought if the 6g
Had an F4A then maybe if I swap in a 6 Bolt torque converter
With the 6bolt engine maybe the box shafts are the same

7g/2g have 2 ECUs - 1 for the engine and one for the tranny, And Im sure the connectors are somewhat the same between 2g and 7g transmissions. Just keep in mind that 7g auto trans are weak and they break anyway w/o having a turbo engine beside it.

2g ECU and rewiring is pretty hard job to do, so you might want to look into machining a Mirage distributor.
God created turbo lag to give the v8's a brief moment of hope.

Oh no I got it I ain't got no money for all that and I can do the wiring .I'll have help from y'all and a few guys round here. I'll make sure its done right Remember I put the infinity amp from a sebring in my car. And except for amp placement ,looks factory down to the 6×9 wiring. I also know how to pull pins from connectors clean. I have this tiny flathead just for connectors.

And I know bout the tranny so I wont push her .....too hard :-) but I've done alot of SAFE spirited driving

Please if you wanna go fast have yourself somewhere you can go not racing in traffic

I have me the 3am straight 1 ½ miles straight, flat, no stop signs, no people . 107 ;-)

Sorry reminiscing, I can do the five speed swap with a few hundred so I know I can
Get that out of my current tranny. Save. Swap. Bless someone with scrap metal

Yeah I know when I do the 5 speed swap I'm going to seek an F5M33 or an awd tranny convert it to front wheel drive and use it so it will be in place already.

But my tranny has never been serviced has 248k and is still pulling at 110

this is the small 16g I recently aquired. the kid thought it was a stock 14b cause he pulled of out of his 91 talon . well he said it was "stock 91 TSi turbo I don't know what it is but it came out my car" . Bought the car and it was lagging assumed Turbo was blown . he got an eBay big 16 and injectors. gave me his old ones. I just knew they weren't dsm 450 so I did some research. 1992 Hyundai sonata 19lb/hr which is right around 200cc . Lag huh??? there's why.. anyway

broke it down and put it together to see how long it would take hooked it to my 2g manifold and o2 housing from the T25 (happens the o2 housing is bigger inside than the s16g OEM)

I still need the water and oil lines so if any one has them let me know

Oh and I cleaned up the wheel

TD05 water and oil lines I know they're on eBay but I'd rather someone send me some cheap like $10 shipped

    7Gb front bumper

6bolt torque converter and flex plate...if anyone has or knows anyone who is doing a 5speed swap on a six bolt I'm willing to pay $30 shipped it will fit in a big flat rate box and no one else is searching for these parts

Also need any ideas on using a 7G maf on a 1g intake

Good hard work, you could really benefit from a pressure washer for that bay.
