You lay down the two plugs with the clips facing up and the wires go pin for pin - like pin 1 to pin 1, pin 2 to pin two......you know what i mean. Just be careful cuz there are empty pin on the plugs. Make sure you examine them before you rewire it.

Oh I used to run both plugs for a while back in the day, just in case some happened to the 8g MAS. I had the 7g plug taped so no water or dirt gets in there.

    j

    I got the engine

4G63t 6bolt with power steering pump

I have 2g turbo manifold, 1g fuel rail,, 1g fuel injector harness, 2g o2 housing, small 16g, 1g CAS, 1g side mount intercooler,

I will be replacing the main and rod bearings, pistons & rings, all upper and lower gaskets, maybe valves and seafoaming everything till its shiny and rebuilding my s16g

Need to locate a six bolt three hole flex plate so if anyone is at the yard look out for me from what I understand the are on non turbo 6bolt automatics such as the 6G Galant

    Thanks y'all

you might wanna get 2g fuel rail to work with the 7g fuel pressure regulator. I mean it fit 1g rail too, but the bolt holes dont match. Ask me how i know.

Ok, but remember 1g turbo fpr is set to 39psi or some like that and 7g fpr is set to 48psi

dont have any automatics here. I just checked JNZ tuning and the timing gear set for 4g64 DOHC is 43 bucks. Fuel pump isnt really necessary for 8-10psi of boost. I ran my stock pump for some time.

A 6bolt 4g63 is going in I need them for this engine

The mass of the setup will be 1g complete engine with a small 16g I was hoping to make at least 12-15 psi

And if I use WRX or FC RX7 injectors will I still need the transistor pack?

i have stock 63 cam gears and 450 injectors from a 1g those would need the resistor pack. what little timing gears are you referencing?

do ACL bearings main and rod are 1oo. rings are gonna run around 160 cuz its 40 per piston, i would go with NPR rings. while youre in there what are you doing with the oil pump and water pump? also for the 6 bolt in the galant you are going to have to grind down the drivers side motor mount to clear the 6 bolt water pump also remove the front and reat brackets from the motor mounts as our mounts are on the tranny not the block.

i would have redone the stock 64, i could have hooked you up with an oil pump with 30k that i just put all new seals on and set up for the balance shaft delete and a water pump with 30k.

It has cams and gears I need like the tensioner pulley .... basically all the cogs and whatnots brackets and an alternator. I just got the complete motor. The hardest parts for me to find are going to be the 6bolt three hole flexplate and 2g ecu

What's your Bottom dollar on those injectors??

I already have a 1g fuel injector harness complete to where it passes through the firewall and I replaced the broken and missing 1g injector clips with the nice ones from my 7g harness.

    All seals are being done

So I started working on the engine yesterday.....morning I checked it all out all the bearings are great have a handful of scratches from over 20 years this engine hasn't been beat up though the pistons have a little scarring the cylinders don't reflect the scarring. So the plan is new main and rod bearings, pistons & rings, balance shaft eliminator, and all new seals. I know the engine is dirty but I got a good engine and yesterday was day 1 day 2 will commence at the conclusion of this post.

Here's the block with my CAS in it and my16g in front of it

    The block and pistons

    And at some point yesterday

I had arranged everything I had in f don't of the car so I could make me a list and check it twice

Thanks for all of y'all help and Galanttuner10 ill pm you on those injectors.

Seafoam will evaporate too quickly. I have this cleaner that makes everything brand new. I didnt even use power washer, just the garden hose. If you look in my build thread, the old head I just removed looked exactly the same as yours looks right now. The engine internals came out just like out of the factory, but IDK how to get it you.

So the dream is not dead yet .... critical condition, life support, sure but alive yet.here's where the project is at.

After towing the car three places and fighting with everyone about it I gave in and scrapped the shell afyer all that work cause to when you working on it at family house they just see a dead car (definitely not enthusiasts) tgey don't see the potential of he car or the mechanic but like I said. Life support not dead . So the cars gone "BuT" the engine isn't and honestly it has become therapeutic. So far I cleaned all the carbon off of the pistons, sourced a 1g mani , fabbed a heat shield, continued extensive elbow grease cleaning, finally found a 6bolt ofh, got injectors (dsm450s) ,started cleaning the ports etc I am determined to complete this but its restif again :(
