    Hey TGC,

    It's been awhile since I've been an active member here, due to selling my 8G a few years ago. I've stayed lurking at the photos and am amazed to see the progress some of you guys have been making.

    Here's a little past, present, future:

    Here was my old silver G. First car I ever modified and obsessed over. LOL Sold it to travel abroad and start some non-profit projects. Can't say I fully regretted selling it, but it sure hurt sometimes.





    Coming back State side and finishing up college, I picked up a new car. A clean, mechanically perfect 1997 240sx. Old lady driven.
    RWD and that KA engine had me in its grasp. It was a hard time letting this one go, but it was a victim of midwest weather and had terrible rust/rot underneath. It was either a complete overhaul or sell. I chose to sell. (still got a good price for it from a drifter waiting to gut it and throw in an LS1)





    Here we are now. The 240 is gone and I'm starting from scratch. Picked this up last week. Sadly, its not silver as I wanted, but it runs like a champ, few dings but nothing major and its from Arizona. It's only been in Chicago for 2 weeks. Couldn't be happier.






    This will be a slow process with this car, as I'm saving up for my official wedding ceremony abroad in February (what can I say, I like to travel). But I'll be here and there and just wanted to say "Hey" to the community again.

    Thanks guys, it's definitely nice to be back in a Galant especially a rust free one. LOL

    I don't have anything planned for the car yet, just typical touch-ups for now and replacing what's needed. Probably going to go for a drop first but IDK if i'll do coil overs again. Loved the adjustability, but I'm not much of an aggressive driver.

    I'll definitely post updates as I do anything major!

    Adjusting from RWD back to FWD was very weird... might tack the AWD conversion on the list.

    I just did stagg struts and megan lowering springs on my winter G. Feels sporty yet still a nice ride. Might be worth looking into as the setup was $350 for everything.

    LOL! that was one of my first meets, and the best. We can get over to Hooters and tell them its either of our birthdays again anytime! hahaha
