i don't see what's the big deal with the 4g69, the 69 makes 2HP more than a 4G64 DOHC in a Galant GS....the 69 is design to have fuel economy and emissions in mind...

So, I was finally able to get photobuck to work. So here is a few things that i have been working on.

Installed the stock cd player from the G into it. Fit really good and works awsome!

Made my own short ram intake. Just installed for the photo. I will have it in the car when the exhaust work and injectors are added and a tune can be done.

Oil, plugs and wires changed. And engine bay washed out. Still needs alot more cleaning though.

    And now for the lip.

So let me know what you guys think so far.

There's a good thread on club3g about the swap you want 4g64 in a mirage, I read a little and it said that you use the 3g 5spd as you plan and use mirage axles with 3g inner boots and input shafts.

He is going to use 3g ecu and maf, I believe he said the mirage harness works.

    Here it is:http://www.club3g.com/forum/members-...dohc-swap.html

And lip looks good I like ;)

Hey, thanks for the link Omega. Yeah, i got some info from the MirageForum and all but its harder to navagate that one than this forum. Info is just scattered every where. And not alot of "tuts" or how to's for builds. Ill check out the link. The good news is that i dont think my engine is in as bad of shape as i thought so it gives me the time to collect parts and info for the build.

And thats deff in the plans Denver... I just dont have a pressure washer. lol

Lil... I didn't think people actually paid attention to what was going on with me. Well Greg, to answer your question...the missing part is 13tt. Lol I'm pretty excited about it. Just started making payments on it. Can't wait!

According to this link it does. It doesn't detail the specifics, but it looks like the motor mounts line up fine. Somebody familiar posted in this link too....

    And shit just got real.

Any specifics on where you got it from, or are you keeping some things on the hush?

Well, Im not revealing everything right now... But it is mated to the 1.8 5speed trans and will not be going in my car, but into another Mirage. I want to build an "evo5" shell but with this motor. Just got to get alot of work and a hell of alot more research done.

And yeah Greg, thats me thats posting in the link. There is alot of info in that forum... but you really have to search for it.

I have alot of work ahead of me now. Good thing i have a good friend that is going to be helping me build the car when i get it.
