shaft position sensor

Hi, I have a question about the shaft position sensor, for the Galant EA 2.0 97' . Will the sensor from any other engine be suitable (2.5 /2.4L or maybe from some hyundai or kia)

Looks the same, but I am not for sure if it is the same. I have an idea though ( what I do when I have questions like this) look up the part # on like auto zones web site and compare it with the part # for the motor you need it for. Hope this helps a little.

part # is different, because sensors got for example different cable length or plugs, but they looks the same.. so I think that if the engine block is the same in

HYUNDAI SANTA FE 2000-2006 2,02,4
Hyundai Trajet 2.0 2000 to 2007
HYUNDAI SONATA 1998-2004 EF 2,02,4
Kia Magentis 2.0 2000 to 2005

and probably in the galant 2.4 and 2.0 diesel they should be suitable

it seems to me that the plugs are different only (if they differ at all .. )
in Poland sensor price to 2.0 is 2x higher than for the 2.5 or the hyundai or kia so if they are the same it would be great to save some money..
