    Whats Up From ChiTown

    Hello Everyone, My name is David. I found this site a couple days ago and now I can't stay away. This site is amazing, didn't know the Galant had such a following. I'm looking forward to reading up on projects I would like to do in the near future.

    Welcome to The Galant Center! There are plenty of projects worth getting ideas from here. Anything done to the car yet? Feel free to post up some pictures and info.

    Pics

    These are some old Pics, I haven't taken any recently. I have made a couple changes since; projector headlights, air intake, complete audio system (still in progress), and some other projects i'm currently working on. Right now its all show and no go, but now that I found TGC, that will be changing. I will post updated pics in the coming weeks, when I finishing up a few things.

    What do you guys think?

    Welcome to TGC! Not a fan of the body kit or altezza tails, I love the hood, though.

    Right now I’m working on finishing the trunk. I made a fiberglass sub box, so now I need to make panels and reupholster it. Then I am going to do some work on the interior, I ordered a carbon fiber dash kit, but am still debating whether to paint some of the plastic pieces black, not any vinyl. I have seen mixed feeling about painting interior pieces, so I’m not sure. I just finished making a fiberglass rear deck for the 6X9s, converted the stereo bezel to a 2 Din, changed out all the speakers to Rockford Fosgats, added tweeters, and 2- 12s. I am also looking for leather seats, so I may be hitting the junkyard this weekend.

    @ 4G63Lover, when is the next meet?

    @ 99GalantES, Thats on my to do list. Just need to save up, so hopefully by next summer. Im thinking about putting in an air ride suspension or maybe coilovers. Im leaning more towards air ride, since I don't plan on tacking this car to the track.
