    didnt think about it i just saw that the drum pads ware okey so i just put the drum back on

    There's a special tool for getting into the access hole behind the drum on the bottom, where you turn the adjuster to loosen or tighten the shoes.

    Tought id post some picz i took while i was changein out the rotors and pads yesterday.

    Here u can see that the driver side pads are not a worn as the passanger side.


    i had to knock the old rotor out. it broke in the process ... actualy made things easyer...


    New VS Old


    The new one is 24 mm thick


    Old one is 16mm thick almost half the thickness


    This is the plan im going to weld the old one together again and re use it..

    Make sure after you weld the old one back together to put bounty or even charmans paper behind the brake pad to help make up for the material thats missing on the rotor cheers! :)

    Only sonata f5m42 swapped. N/A build in motion.

    im thinkin of findin some other used brake pads and weld them together and make one good one :)

    Wow I'm surprised non brembo oem brakes are eating up rotor like that especially if you don't track often. Just to be safe I'd double check that caliper and see what the piston is doing. It should definitely not eat up rotors like that even with aggressive brake pads

    2 year old post guys. Live and let learn, calipers and pistons ware fine. it was just a case of a worn out disk with worn out pads. all is good now
