7th gen AWD question

I have a question about what drivetrain has to be used to make a 7th gen GS AWD, is it a 2g or 1g drivetrain or can any of the two be used and in that case which one requires less custom fabrication. Sorry if its a dumb question but I just recently purchased this car and to be honest I don't know much about it..thanks
