why are you using a sandwich adapter? the evo oil filter housing already has several ports that can be used for gauge senders and feed lines. Are you planning on running an oil cooler of any sort?

Because right now I'm on a tight budget. Couldn't find a used evo filter housing so got the sandwich adapter.

No I'm not using any coolers as of now.

    installed the power steering cooler

didnt get around to take pics of the slin fan. also im doing a full SS clutch line. fittings should be here tomorrow so i will install that and bleed the clutch and working on doing a remote mount for the oil pressure sending unit.

my buddy already started on the exhaust, DP is almost done and the rest to come later.

2g clutch line is way longer iirc. This is a 4an 40" line that I had laying around.

Lol sadly I can't now. Moved from one shop to another last week. Waiting n township to approve the electric permits or whatever permits that they didn't finish. So no powder coating until they're done. :(

    getting closer

i just need to ditch the crash bar at this point in order to raise my IC up a bit since it flexes the bumper too far down

exhaust is getting finished this weekend hopefully and i just need to bleed the clutch and tighten up few bolts and such

I would highly advise you not to ditch your crashbar, way too risky

I know. But the intercooler is way too low, tie is my only option until I either get another intercooler or make another crash bar.

Nice work. Is there anyway you can "notch" the bumper on the back for more clearance?

I need to trim a lot.

The pre-facelift bumper fits that IC, and most IC's a lot easier from what I've seen. There might be another way to make it work if you keep tinkering with it. Sacrificing your safety and the likelihood of that front end buckling in a crash without it is just not wise. I've seen it happen way too man times on here. Like Zobgels original G for instance... Low speed crash and the car was totaled.

I know. I'm gonna see if we can use the original crash bar to fab something up.
