Bridgestone vs Toyo?

hey guys, i was wondering what would be better vs price i can get?
i can get a new R1R Toyo's for 563$ (4 tires) prices here are pretty high

or, there's a dude who's selling his Bridgestone Potenza RE050 used with
3000km on it for 250$?

what do u guys suggest?
the tires size are 225.45.17

I wouldn't buy used tires unless its from a trusted friend. You do not know if there are any undisclosed damage to the tires and why the guy might be selling them. The tires are the most imporant part of your car, right up there with your brakes.

Both brands are good brands tho. Bridgestone being the brand a lot of OEMs trust. Try Falken tires for decent tires at cheap prices

If u decide 2 go with falkens go with the ziex 912's I personally ran them on my eclipse 3rd gen. Those r really gd tires I also like the falken 502's as well.

toyo 888. awesome tire. bridgestone re11 are great too. have you thought about maybe michelin pss's? great tire also.

I would never opt for a used tire unless its temporary while I order a new one, and I would avoid highway speeds at all costs. Like mentioned above, the only thing between you car and the pavement is tires.

I have slightly used tires but because me and a good friend swapped wheels. He got my 20's and I got his 18's. The car they were on was his third car so they didn't see much miles (90% life or so left when I first got them) and he's a car freak who cares/watches them good.

the toyo r888 are more track tires , and they dont realy fit 90% daily use as i know
about the bridgestone re11 ill read about them, they seem to be another nice option.

btw, here is a pictures of the used RE050 what do u guys think of thier condition?
and i also prefer a new tires with 0KM on it, but if i have an option to get a good tires for
nothing it could be nice

i can also buy yokohama drive s. for 750$ new ones

I run Goodyear eagle GT tires and they're awesome. They're on my Turbo Volvo and ran them on the drag strip and they r really sticky and awesome traction on the road. I love them and they're decently priced.

I run goodyear triple treds I found then for 100.00 each when they retail for average 180 each they are great and have a long mile rating for their performance. But tirerack is a good place to field research onb tires.
