    0-60? (8g vs. X5)

Okay here is the deal we are looking for the stock 0-60 of the 8G because my boy wants to race me in his X5 (3.0 version)... I have some minor work done (CAI AND BORLA EXAHUST) but I really want the stock

    0-60.3.0 X5 stock 0-60 is 8.1.......

Who would win the quarter mile battle???

Well...according to Car and Driver the V6 Galant is at 16.6 seconds in the quarter mile and 9 seconds 0-60. If the times for both cars are accurate, I believe the X5 may win the sprint to 60 and perhaps a close tie for the quarter.

I think Car and Drivers tests were on a 1999 model, which has slower gearing. The 2000 and up and faster, about .5 second faster 0-60.
