im getting an intake but....

whats the purpose of the intake resonator box cause ima have to get an another valve cover without the resonator box when i put my intake on thanks in advance

The intake resonator box i believe gives the stock air box a more enhanced sound or quiets it down. Not too sure really but either way some after market intakes use it and connect directly, and some just bypass it all together. The only other engine cover Ive found was a carbon fiber model from road race but it seems they don't make it anymore. You could always modify yours or just leave it off like i did. If your talking about the line that goes from the valve cover to the intake, your aftermarket intake should use it, if not then stick a small breather filter on it and you should be set
