Hi everyone, bought my first 8g at the start of June but it was totaled after getting t boned about 3 weeks later. Spent some time thinking about whether to get another or not. In the end I got another In the middle of July. I just love this car, it handles well and even for a 4 cyl it picks up nice. That and safety. Prime example being my first car haha. Anyways, can't wait to learn new things and try them.

IMO salvageable, if Pete (Polishmafia) can make a comeback on what was supposed to be a total loss that even went through a part out, then you can too.

Welcome to TGC and you might want to hold on to the wrecked galant as well.
I am planning to keep it for now. The wrecked 8g has a rebuilt engine with about 10,000 on it when i bought it. The guy replaced a lot of the internals so I'm planning to swap in the winter. The newer 8g is getting pretty rough on idle and a few other things. After I'm done with replacing the parts here and there between them, I will part out most of it then scrap it. I expect to part it out sometime in late spring early summer next year.

Where do you go to school? Some of us are getting together again on Saturday if it engages your interest.
Right now i'm taking classes at Century College. I will be free Saturday after 1:00.

Thanks, yeah i'm planning on transferring to Winona next fall though, we'll see if I can meet requirements haha.
