    Mine used to do that. Then it'd drop from 1/2 to 1/4 in like 14.3 miles.

    Yeah half to 1/4 goes fast! But I used to be at 3/4 rank in 100 miles so this is a noted improvement for this car

    From F to 1/4 I could easily rack up almost 100 miles even driving like a mad man, and think "Wow this is gonna be a could 30+mpg tank!"

    By the time I was at empty, I calculated a crappy 22-ish mpg

    Same here, first quarter takes nearly 100 miles to burn, the rest of the tank is gone in like 150 miles. My old 4-cyl was better, it took 120 miles to burn the first quarter. If I slow my fast ass down I'll see better mileage.
