On a 9.5 rim? I'm worried more so about the rears.

yeah you can definitely play with the rear fenders more than the fronts. and yep on a 9.5 a 255 can be done

Pretty sure Greddy made a thread about that exact topic either here, on GT, or both.

yeah, I have, but the gist is that you need to cut the fender lips out up front, install flares, then cut the lips of the flares out, the rear is the same, although I suppose you could flip the inner lip out instead of shaving it down like I did. The point is, it takes some work and patience if you want tires that will actually hold up to your power levels. I'll be fitting a 255 bfg R1 semislick this winter which is about as wide as your average 265/75 so I'll let you know how that goes. It comes down to if you want lower offsets with narrower tires and more camber or slightly higher offset but some meat on the tires, I've done both, I had 17x9.5 +30 work vsxx with 235 toyos on them with a slight stretch, I've had 17x9 +27 5zigens with 255/40s falkens on them, currently on 18x9s +30 with 245/40 NT-05s that are wider than my 255s were smh... and then for next track season as I mentioned I'll have huge slicks on the car. The point is you can go for super style or super function, or try and find the happy medium in between which is what I've tried, functional camber levels to clear wheels with beefy tires with a nice offset so it's not sunk. Sorry for the novel in your thread Marc, I'm tired and I didn't feel like digging up my old thread :) carry on boys
