    Thanks sir! I have to start the run at 75 mph or i get wheel spin. 4 straps and adhesive and still spinnin. 2.4L cars usually fall off hard and the end of the powerband, also in part I tune my cars as such. Area under the curve up front and not a lot of timing up top. Reason being when the car shifts it falls right back into the massive torque rpm range and pulls hard again. I could easily tune it to be a flat diagonal line but you lose a lot of transient response. This is really the reason why my cars punch above their class. A lot of tuners dont tune the way I do. Dunno why.

    I gues it makes sense with a larger turbo like that, with my car we tried to minimize torque down low to keep the tires from spinning up uselessly every time I shifted since the BBK has pretty great characteristics that allow for nice transient response.

    Precisely why I've always used a t3/t4 on everything I've owned. The displacement spools them at 3k and I get 400 miles to a tank because of it. The bbk being a "stock frame" turbo will spool with a huge spike by nature. Which as you say is where tuning comes in to tame that. Bye bye rod bearings when tuners don't tune out the boost spikes in higher gears. Either has their advantages and disadvantages. All about preference really :)

    So back and forth between work's commute ive been dialing in the injector trims. got it down to -0.4 for cruise this morning. On the way home a slow truck was in the way and i opened it up for the first time since the injectors.


    All i have to say is holy f*ck! spin, spin, spin, grip, wheel jerk, teleport about an 1/8 mi O_O Last i felt that was in Ivory with the 60-1 and 5 spd.
    I was like wtffffff with the auto?!?!
    I also hit 285 load at 4k rpm and maximum of 75% idc. Tumbler rips face now. Torque is of course way off haha

    That's pretty much exactly what happened. I put my foot down about 25% and was like "ahhh WTF you're so damn SLOW!" aaaand mashed the gas. Apparently Tumbler was PO'd too cause I was huffing tire fumes for a while after that. Injectors are definitely working haha

    Your car woul d be a dream for me considering I can't drive stick lol. While I would like to be able to just to take my aggression out at WOT at times, and hear my exhaust more..the idea of a boosted auto daily seems more convenient.

    I bet that truck driver was like wtf lol.
