Hey so It's very nice but matte isn't for me.

I found this and i'm assuming you can glossify it with that. If so then I'm seriously considering it

There are streaks on the hood, but I really don't care lol. It looks good from far away and I just wanted something that was different and I only spent 45ish bucks so I'm happy.
I call it my bbq pit paint job anyway lol.

I'll eventually get it repainted, after I get my truck painted and finished.

I need to redo my doors, since I spent most of my time on the hood and roof (due to the crappy paint), be careful when you fill up with gas though, it'll dissolve the dip if it gets on it.
6 cans? Most uses an average 12-14 cans to get a decent coat. The gallon is an equivalent of 14-17 rattle cans.

Nice work, looks like a pro did it!
Throw some OEM Evo or 4G Eclipse wheels and it'd be even better.

Nice work. I used Plasti-Dip on the emblems and rims of my Silverado to help my murdered out theme. Stuff works great, cheap, easy to peal off if there is a problem and doesn't take long or much effort to put on. there is a large room for error to. For those who want to do this, like all paints, becareful of overspray. Light dusting coats work better than trying to cover completely with the first coat.

^that brings me back when I was way younger making model airplanes, same method works very well with making sure the texture, finish and surface details come out right

I have nothing to lose. Let's see what $45 in 12 cans can do for me.

I'm gonna get me a gallon and borow my friend's spray gun to even out the swirls and give it an even coating. that's the visual difference between a spay gun and rattle can.

Not bad at all for a rattle can! Welcome to the "dipped" club. :)

NIce Pete, even with a rattle can! I'm considering it for me, but I'd do red.

I need to redo my doors, I used most of the cans on my hood/roof/trunk.
There are some streaks on the hood, but the valence/roof/trunk look decent, if I had access to a clean garage and spray gun, I'd go over it again.

Anyway to clear the corners on the heads? I think it would tie in with the silver wheels more at the given angle of the first pic. Just an idea. Nice job either way
