    Icon10 MONROE OESpectrum anybody?

Hey guys, I just bought struts and shocks from RockAuto. They cost me $101.10 with shipping, since they were on wholesale closeout. Anyone has good or bad feedback about this brand and model of struts/shocks?

No OE replacement shock will last with lowering springs, even kyb gr-2's aren't guaranteed to last but they have proven time and time again to exceed its specifications.

There is pressurized nitrogen inside the strut to keep the oil inside from cavitating. OEM replacements usually don't have the seals designed to sustain the higher pressure that comes with having the strut compressed that much.

Monroe is a decent OEM replacement, but like others have said, they just aren't designed to last with a lowered car.

Ok so I was going to install the springs, struts, and shocks this weekend but I heard that I also need to upgrade my camber kit. Do I need to do this before lowering my G? If so, which camber kit should I get? Thanks

O'reillys auto sells monroe, worked there for 2yrs now. the spectrums are nice, the kyb shocks are the best. if they break earlier then expected, we usually take free warranty returns/ugrades swaps with no receipe/phone number. just only remember the aroundish time of year. but i didn't tell you that. ;)
