8g dash and door cards into 7g

    Hey,

Anyone know how much work would be needed to fit the 8g dash and door cards into a 7g?

As far as I know the 7g is slightly wider than the 8g so that is one thing to look at but otherwise what other things are there to look at, passenger air bag etc?

I basically want to know has anyone tried this as I think it would be pretty unique and I don't mind putting in the hard yards if it is at all possible but I thought I would ask you guys what you thought first being the fact that I am new to Galants.

    Cheers

I dont think that anyone here has tried it. You should be the first and see if it will work. Although I think the 8g dash is nasty compared to the 7g.

Might just have to give it a go.

Will be interesting if nothing else, the main reason I am trying is that along the window vents my dash is all curled up and I know someone who will sell me a 8g for $60.

Unless you know a way to fix warping I might just try.

No I dont think that there is a way to fix the warping. I mean if you can get a cheep 8g dash then it may be worth it but you may have to rewire the ac and heat controls.
