    Which would you choose?

So i know that im not new or anything, but since im shopping for a new car i figured this is a good place to make my post.

I would like to get y'alls opinion on something. So it seems like im going to have to buy a car through a dealer ship. Which means that buying a 1999 8g will run me up to $4500 ballpark. But i know i can get an 2004-2006 9g for around the $6000-$6500 range. So my question is which would be the better buy? Both options would more than likely be the 4 banger. I personally love the 8g, but the 9g look pretty awesome when done well too. So Im not really sure of the route i wanna go and thought i would get the input from some of the guys/gals.

I know that there are alot of people that dont like the 9g. Im just looking at wether or not it is best to get into a newer car and wether or not the market for the 9g is strong enough or is it just better to roll with an 8g.

Let me know what yall think

Hmm interesting. Personally if I'm gonna finance it I'd get a newer car or at least a car with low miles, so the 9G seems more like the choice to make, but you may find a clean, low-mileage 8G (I have seen quite a few in my searches online when I get bored) and financing may not be a bad thing with those either, so I guess it could go either way. One thing though, if you do finance, make sure it's a sound car with lower miles, so as to not have to do extensive maintenance while you're paying for it still, and try to get the best financing deal you can, hopefully like $200 - $300 a month for no more than three years since your amount is going to be low. Hope this helps, and good luck.

i would rock a v6 9G in the ralliart red.

9G's are heavy and with a 4 banger you won't be going anywhere fast and make it work to move on its own, let alone with people in it

    I wouldn't touch an 8g for over 3k.
    I wouldn't touch a 9g that doesn't have a 6G75.

I wish i could get one for under 3k but that isnt the case in my area. They all seem to run pretty high here. And i would love to have the 6g75 9g! I really want a 2007 Ralliart... doubt it will happen. But that would be really sick! Guess i will wait and see...

    I found a 2006 SE... is that a 4 or 6 cylinder?

Yeah, that ones is awesome. I was gonna contact him but the money I was using isn't coming as a lump sum like I was told. Pay out is between 500-750 every 3 weeks. That's why I will have to finance.
