most common failure is a faulty vent solenoid.
pretty common, actually.
It came back again. I know my gas cap is tight, because I make sure everytime I fill up since the last time this damned code showed up. What can I look for in my Evaporative Emissions System to find a "Gross Leak". I'm out of warranty, (38k miles) so I'm pretty sure the dealer will charge me for whatever they do. Any help is appreciated. Good luck on buying your house, man. And Thanks.

I had that code once, decided to look around my engine and found a vacum hose that had come loose. You could have the same problem.
Thanks guys. I checked the vacuum hoses and they all appear to be tight and in place. Where's the vent solenoid, maybe that will give me a clue as to where to look. I did replace my hoses with silicone ones, so it's possible i may have one loose or crimped or something. Thanks.
