Rust on around tires area..advice

Hello TGC fam,

I recently upgraded my wheels and tires and noticed some rust around the rotor area, I was told to paint it and I actually agreed with that.

my questions are:

1. Should I paint it or do something else like replace them
2. If I go with paint, what color do y'all recommend/suggest I used...I was thinking Silver (the mechanic said Black)

I agree, replace them and throw a coat of black (or another color of your choice) where your old ones rusted. You can cover your current ones with paint if you don't feel spending the extra money.

You don't have to replace the rotors. Just sand the rusty part and paint them. Problem solved!

Paint is a must whether you replace or not. If you change them without painting it'll just happen again.
