Alternators are alternators, they get rebuilt the same way, probably in the same warehouse.

When companies like Auto zone, Oreilly, Napa....etc need to rebuild alternators, starters, water pumps...whatever they called the same company with warehouses all over even out of the country, they make a deal for example rebuild 5 million cores a year for 10 million, then its tagged and boxed with the companys logo and part number (often the same) and its back on the shelf. With duralast you are getting a remanufactured alternator that's just as good as the guy who rebuilt it, same goes for any other companys rebuilt parts. Ever notice a mitsu logo on a casing from duralast whether a starter or alternator? That's why they want your core, to make money and if you don't give it up you pay more. Buy your alternator I'm positive your car will run like before.

Remember this applies to rebuilt/remanufactured parts not new.
