1999 Galant 4cyl ecuflash

Hey guys, I'm messing with my daily (or trying to) but I can seem to find the correct definition file to view my maps.
Has anyone successfully pulled the rom for the 1999 or 2000 galant?

I put the 85850014.xml file (2000 galant 4cyl) in the rommetadata/mitsubishi/galant folder on my "tuning laptop".
The ecu reponds to both evo6 read templates and the evo 6.5 template. Adrian had help me with the confusing part as far as selecting the correct read template so I had created a "1999/2000 galant" read template. Regardless all the above is not working out as far as identifying the correct template to use.





Thanks for any tips. Evo7 read template is also a no-go.

99-00 are H8 rom. Try evo 6.5option.

I did use the 6.5 evo read template at first. I'll shoot you an email Isaurio.

No error guys, It's just asking me to develop my own definition; as if I didn't have one in that works with my ecu. Maybe I don't have the correct definition, but for the life of me I cannot find anyone that has tuned their stock 1999 pcm.

That's weird I have 2 defined 1999 h8 rom's one v6 and I4 both done by Isaurio, for the life of me I can't understand why your not dealing with him directly.....

I don't want to inconvenience someone whose not wanting to be inconvenience'd lol. But he did post and I did email him my roms, defintions, and read templates I'm trying to use.

No rush or anything guys, I just wanted to play around in the ecu lol.

You have a late 2000 pcm.

Isaurio is a huge help, he send me a custom definition and I appreciate his help. I'll be testing it later today providing all my fixes on it goes well today lol. Thanks again and I'll report back here with my results!
