3rd Fuel Line????

I recently just replaced my head and I hooked up everything guided by a digital workshop manual i got from ebay on a cd BUT there was one hose with a filter looking thing on it that i cant find a place to put it. further inspection (sniffed it then traced where it came from) revealed that it was a fuel line. Ive done research all over the net but the only thing i could find in relation to a 3rd fuel line is a line to ventilate the fuel vapor but it didnt say where it plugged into. Can someone help me find out where it goes?

IT IS NOT THE HIGH PRESSURE FUEL LINE OR THE RETURN LINE both of those are hooked up where they are supposed to be

Evap line? Probably goes to the evap purge solenoid, I'm not sure. There should be a diagram for the underhood emissions equipment, look and see if theres a place for a line from the tank to the evap purge solenoid or something.

Edit: The Haynes manual says there is a line coming from the evap canister on the back of the fuel tank to the purge solenoid under the hood. That might be your line, I can't find any other one real quick.

Still no luc does your g have any open lines on the driver side of the intake?

Post a pic of the hose so can better help you and also would help to know if its a 4-6.

I'll have to take a look. Keep in mind I have the V6, so it might be different looking, but it should be similar. Give me a few, I'm eating dinner at the moment.

you should really post a picture so we can see. there are a lot going on on that side of the engine.
