    oil pan

    so i have been searching around but no luck on TGC.is the oil pan strong enough to withstand a jack and a piece of wood(wood to spread out the weight) on it?i have read on other sites that their oil pans are strong enough but don't want to assume so that why im here asking.thanks again TGC.

    depends, ive done that when puting on my 5 speed, but it was still mounted to the engine side,

    its strong enough to withstand the weight of the motor which means the motor mount has to be out, but i wouldnt jack the whole car at the oil pan
    God created turbo lag to give the v8's a brief moment of hope.
