    Another... What does this plug go to?... thread

    I had to pull my engine and rebuild it. I put it all back together and that one plug doesn't seem to go into anything O_o

    It's behind the intake manifold. It's right next to the alternator plugs.

    Car runs, but I assume what ever that plug goes to would help it run better =p

    picture is kinda large, sorry.

    That looks like its for the egr solenoid. The solenoid is the same color as the plug and should have two vacuum lines hooked up to it also.

    It has to have the socket check if its pointing to the driver side of the car

    Crazy. Every single one of these I have ever seen has the pigtail connect on the same side as the upper vac hose. However, those have all been on the V6 and I'm not familiar with the 4 cylinder. I would be under the impression that either engine uses the same solenoid though since it theoretically does the same thing regardless of engine size.
