Second Annual King of Mitsu Meet at King Mitsubishi

Hey folks! Got some pics from the King of Mitsu meet here in MD:

The link to the meet details: https://www.thegalantcenter.org/show...le-MD-May-2013

The lone 8G for most of the show:

I got a lot of stares as I drove in and out, but I heard a couple positive comments ("Oh, that's a Galant, it's clean," "I like that,") as I drove past a couple of the staffers there.

It was basically an Evo/Lancer meet with a couple other Mitsu's sprinkled in:

^^Yes, that's his car, he was driving, his sense of humor is amazing, and he's a veteran, so he's a hero^^

    ^^Lots of ladies there!!^^

This 2G was dope, Bryant told me main man mostly does time trials in it:

    There was a couple 4G's:

    A 1G Talon came through:

Greg (Pharmecis) was there with his Evolander:

This one Evo was so sick, I've seen it on the car blogs before, I've reblogged it on my tumblr many times, it was cool to see it in person:

This lady and her ultra stock Lancer came through to see if the parts department was open and ended up talking my ear off:

    The GVR4's showed up:

Atlantic Motorsports brought out their Evo......:

...but their R33 Skyline GT-R VSpec, though not a Mitsu, kinda stole the Evo's thunder:

I saw this car before, it's crazy dope!

They had an AWD dyno out there:

After awhile, Bryant (xd01) came through and man, his car got a lot of attention. Even the senior Mitsu tech, who they nicknamed "The Physician" came through and checked it out and had a long convo with Bryant about his car:

I took some time out to check out the 2013 Outlander Sport in the showroom:

They gave out trophies and free shit:

And Hooters sent us some wings and pretty faces:

The Hooters girls took pictures with anyone that asked, and all the trophy winners.

Speaking of trophies, Pharmecis won for best sleeper with the Evolander:

I think Bryant would have been a contender for Best Sleeper, but he came late and didn't think it'd be worth registering, only to have them do the judging early, so he could have competed.

And that racing 2G won Best in Show IIRC:

My favorite Evo won People's Choice, no trophy pic.

Oh, and this Evo put down 2000 horsepower!:

Ok, so no it didn't but it was easily the most powerful, so much so that it broke the dyno and all dyno runs stopped after that, the dyno recorded it as having 2000 hp before one of the rollers broke and stopped hard, releasing a cloud of smoke.

That's it though. I'm glad to have found a Mitsu meet/show in my area, though it was a 30 minute drive.
    Thanks for looking!

Wow, thanks for all the pictures Greg! I wish I could have made it too, at least we could have represented the Galant community a little more. Next time for sure though!

Cool array of Mitsus that showed up.

    That R33 is just delicious.
