    Engine rebuild help

Hey guys, I'm in the process of rebuilding my engine but I'm stuck on one thing. I can't figure out where the tensioner pulley goes nor the auto tensioner thing. I mean I kno where it goes, I jus can't figure out how it goes really. Also I got the elimination kit for the balance shaft. The machine shop said it was mandatory I did so, although Im kinda skeptical towards this, has anyone else done so or have any insight towards it. Thanks in advance

Just because something is old, doesn't mean you throw it away

You should really consider replacing the timing idlers and the tensioner.

How did eliminating the balance shafts work out? Why did they say it's mandatory?
