    I know lots have painted calipers, but........

    Has anyone painted their rotors, pics!? Pretty good idea.... What do you all think?? I never really thought of doing it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eSgK...e_gdata_player

    Didn't think there were others like me. Haha my method was much less careful but still delivered quality results.

    I should also state the rotors I used were used. So I sanded off any rust at the hub and painted the whole thing, since I have a part time job at oreilly I took the painted rotors with me and slapped them on the brake lathe and resurfaced the excess paint, they needed to be resurfaced anway.

    Just be careful if you paint the rear discs; the rear disc hat houses the parking brake drum assembly on the inside and I wouldn't paint inside that hat for that reason. I'd at least tape off the drum portion where the parking brake shoes contact the inside of the hat.

    Why in the world did he spray the back side of that rotor?

    Well parkibgnbrake getting sprayed should be that much of a big deal. When the e-brake is used the car isnt moving.... usually.
