Evo8 clutch

Couple Questions, and hello i'm new to the forum :)

I'm going to do the Evo8 4g63t swap into my Galant with the Eclipse RS trans and i was wanting to know if:
1) Do i need to use the Evo8 Clutch Kit with the Eclipse RS Trans?
2) Can I use the Eclipse RS Clutch kit with the 4g63t?

To answer both your questions,no and yes. The spline size on the eclipse tranny is smaller than an evo spline, so you cannot use the evo clutch with a eclipse transmission. Also an evo clutch stock is a pull style, mean while the eclipse tranny is a push style stock.
It doesn't matter what clutch you use for the engine, what matters is that you use the clutch that fits your tranny is this aspect.

thanks for info Galantman03. When i did the 5spd trans swap i actually used a clutch kit from a '99 GST and pulls nicely, so ill just use that since my clutch kit is really only about 2 months old and about 5k miles on it.
