    Official Introduction - 1994 Galant GS-x AWD

    Hello TGC,

It is time to "show off" my 94 Galant for the first time in its full glory (its not a show case quality by any means). Those of you, who have had followed my build thread, know that I have been working on the car for the past two years and it has swallowed pretty much every dollar that I've made. It has been a pain and a joy to work on the car and do the modifications I wanted to do, but the result is here and Im very happy with it. Biggest thanks goes to me for not giving up and pouring more and more funds into it, and of course all TGC members for the support I received and last but not least is TGC for having my project thread on here and the tremendous amount of info that is on here.

Big thanks goes to Eclipsh for pioneering the AWD swap, and the other 7g members who were going along with the swap at the same time as I did - Phizzlot and w/oarctic7g; Galanttuner10 for providing me with the GS shell; Chaotic Coating (Alex) for doing all the powdercoating for me in some crazy cold late nights, my buddy Shawn who housed the Galant for two years and my girlfriend for putting up with me...........oh shit I dont have a girlfriend cuz I bought this car......oh well; and not to forget the DSM community where I found answers to most of my questions.

It all started with a lot of jealousy of Eclipsh' Galant and it ended up with me acquiring 96 Talon AWD parts for $1000. At first, I thought I was gonna swap my red Galant since it already had forged piston engine and big brakes and stuff, but then when i thought about it, it was my only car and I couldnt afford to not have a daily. Then I saw Galanttuner10's ad, selling the green GS and the plan came together. The car didnt come with an engine, transmission or pedals and shifter, which I knew about. It looked pretty beat up from sitting under a tree for around 6 months.

So here it is 1994 Galant GS-x AWD swapped being on the road for two weeks.

DSM stickers on it to make it legit

    Engine bay

Dont notice the two MAF sensors, I need to weld a pipe instead of the GM sensor

    Under carriage

And my Galant with his less-evil twin

Seriously, I dont know who the car belongs to. This is the first time I see another G besides mine in a long time.AND the pictures show why 7g never made it big in the USA.lol

Chris, this is awesome! She looks very good and I can't wait for vids as well!

Amazing seeing a stock one in the same color, you definitely see why they didn't catch on. If only the world-spec was sold here!

Its quiet while cruising, but it def has some deep tone to it. There are actually two cherrybombs on it lol

I do have the red galant and Ill be tearing in it very soon. I have the idea of turning it into a race car and guess what it will be AWD swapped too.
