    Remote start help.

So I need a remote start on my daily. I never wired one in before. But I'm willing to try. I know my way around wiring.

Few things I need to know.
Would the trunk pop feature on my 02 work with an aftermarket system??
Also where can I find wiring diagrams for it.

What else do I need to know about it since I've never done one??

After you wired that ecu harness the remote start will be a walk in the park.

What system are you looking to get?
    Budeget?
    What do you have now?
How many keys does your car have that will start it?

I got you on this, you can use free sources like www.bulldogsecurity.com or www.the12volt.com, I can hook you up with sheets from Directed Electronics (owners of Viper, Python, Clifford) where only dealers of their alarms have access.

If you know what polarity means, and how to use a multimeter you are set.

Budget is very low unfortunately due to other more important things that need addressing first. I have a Clifford matrix rsx3.5 on my turbo car and I love it. I want something similar with all the bells and whistles. I don't mind getting a refurbished unit if I have too.

They have cable and the remote opens the trunk too with two presses of the button.

I got the diagrams from bulldog but if there are better ones that would be great help.

Yep. One thing I miss about my gray G was the trunk opener on the keyless fob. That, and my uncracked dash in the gray one.

Had no idea the galant had a trunk opener... What are you using to tap into the wires for the remote starter? I have to do one for my moms focus sadly lol.

What do you mean?? I'm not doing this as of yet. But I'd love to do this before the end of the winter hopefully.
