    The US mighty max did get the 4g64 though and I think it was carbureted?
    And the starquest IIRC only came with the 2.6 4g5something
    the starion came with a 4g63 rwd and the 3rd gen mighty max came with a 4g63 (2nd and 3rd gen came with a 4g64 as well)

    Which year was considered the 3rd Gen?? AFAIK the mighty max never came with a 4g63 hence why people swap them. They did come with the 64 but it was an 8 valve and not a 16 valve.

    Im Talkin about the 63 head....
    And the motor spins the same way transversed or not take a fan n watch the direction then change the orientation and it spins the same way....

    @Unclepaulie
    Either way works for me....bit k series style intake in the front sounds like it will be the easiest

    Are the exhaust n intake Ports shaped the same?

    Your logic about the fan example doesn't make sense.

    You can't swap intake and exhaust ports. It just doesn't work like that whether the ports are the same or not.

    I know that they had them but just not in the US, correct?
    I could be wrong about the starquest but I know I have never seen a factory US MM with the 63

    I think the late 90's mighty max was the 3rd gen, like the same years as the US 8g, which I don't believe saw US soil.
    They are really awesome swaps though!

    I could be wrong about all that though I have been drinking a lot recently. xD
